Stephen Strout graduated from the University of Florida, college of Dentistry in 2001. While in dental school he developed a passion for periodontics and implant dentistry. He continued his education by completing a three year surgical residency at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital with a major focus on Periodontal Plastic Surgery, Guided Tissue Regeneration, and Implant Surgery. While in his residency he acquired a Masters Degree in Oral Biology with his master Thesis on “The Relationship Between Systemic Lupus Erythematous and Periodontal Disease.” He completed an externship in Anesthesiology at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.
Dr Gabriela Marquez has been a dentist since 1998. She graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. After several years practicing and teaching dentistry at the prestigious UCV, Dr Marquez decided to specialize in orthodontics. The Orthodontic residency lasted three years and she graduated in 2004. She moved with her husband to United States in 2007. Continuing her pursuit to practice dentistry in the United States, Dr Marquez did a 2 years Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at University of Florida. She has been practicing dentistry in the United States since 2010.

My experience was phenomenal!!!!. I’ve been avoiding getting my teeth cleaned bc of how much it normally hurts. My gums always bleed & it’s just a god awful time well NOT TODAY ! I did not feel pain not one time. I wish I had visited this office before. Miss Erica was so great. It was so great. I could feel the grime coming off my teeth & loved it. 10/10 stars I do recommend.
The newly opened location at Blanding Blvd in Orange Park contains most of the staff that relocated from Fleming Island. That's the good news. The better news is the amazing improvements and additions. Dr Strout has assembled a team of solid professionals, and I consider myself fortunate to be one of their dental patients (and not one of their mental patients (smile)).
Melissa does such an awesome job! Kind, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I brought in an immature patient and she handled him with grace and understanding. Oh wait, that immature patient was me! Seriously though, the treatment plan, front and back of the house staff, and location are all top notch. Thanks for the great care!
